anyone interested in being my next door neighbour?
i looked out my window while cleaning and my soon-to-be-no-longer-neighbours were taking a selfie beside the sign that advertises the homes selling. i noticed the lack of the "coming to market" sign and searched it up.
its weird, i never really talk to my neighbours, i only ever saw them outside with their dog. i did notice that they were often building and fixing things up.
when i told my friend about it, (them moving) he said that maybe the house was haunted. i entertained the idea by telling him the previous owner passed in that house. but in reality, i knew that my soon-to-be-no-longer-neighbours bought the house of fairly cheap. seeing that they fixed up the house means they were probably just planning to flip it. its a shame really, from the photos, its a beautiful house. but it might not be everyones cup of joe.
its also weird since ive never seen the inside of this house, the previous owners were older folk, and i was pretty young back then. seeing the inside is jarring. its clear lots of work was done to the house.
its kind of bittersweet, since i hate change. i dont even know these guys yet i feel happy and sad, as if i do know them. happy that they have (probably) accomplished something huge! they were smiling. im also sad since im going to miss them, even though i dont even know their names.
theyre also pretty young, like late 20s early 30s? im not very good with ages so i could be completely wrong.
anyway, i hope my new neighbours are nice. as a kid i was always hoping to have neighbours my age. it never happened and all my friends lived pretty far from me, which bummed me out.
school is tomorrow, first day of senior year. theres a reason this was a footnote, i am not excited.
